ReplyDeleteSecurity in this sense means "safekeeping, defense, and protection." Infringed simply means "to trespass or violate"; in this case, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be violated.
No state can be free in the absence of the right to keep and bear arms unless of course the freedom in question is that of the governing class.
